What Gets Approved
- Security-conscious design — minimal permissions, sandboxed execution, no hidden behavior
- Clear documentation — README, usage examples, permission explanations
- Active maintenance — recent commits, responsive to issues, dependency updates
- Genuine usefulness — solves a real problem for developers using AI tools
What Gets Rejected
- Malware or suspicious behavior — hidden data exfiltration, cryptominers, backdoors
- Abandoned projects — no commits in 6+ months, unresolved critical issues
- Misleading descriptions — claimed features that do not exist or exaggerated capabilities
- Excessive permissions — requesting access far beyond what the tool needs
